Le sac en crocodile (working title)

When my French grandmother died, my uncle gave me some of her things: scarves, bags, gloves, and other misc accessories. I have had a long fascination with photo booths and have started making self portraits while wearing my grandmother's items. In my day job I work at Liberty in the Accessories department selling the very types of items that I am now making work with. 

In this work in progress, I will experiment with the scale of the photos. And also to bring in the objects as part of an installation - gloved mannequin hands holding scarves or photo strips. 

The first iteration of the project was shown in 2025 at Window 135 as part of London Photo Month.
